FRANCO CASTORY
via email from Roy Nagl, 7-30-04
Dear Ralph:
I thought you might like to know that I came across the mention of a French aviator by the name of Franco Castory, today, who may be a candidate for your web site, at http://www.pchswi.org/archives/timeline.html
According to this web site, which presents a timeline of Portage County, Wisconsin history, in 1912:
"At Stevens Point, French aviator Franco Castory, a touring exhibition pilot, flies a "radio" equipped Curtiss biplane, the first airplane to fly in Portage County."
Best wishes,
Roy
Editor's Note: I thank Roy for once again alerting us to another "forgotten" pioneer. You can access the website by clicking on the title above. I did search for more links to his story, using Google, but only found the one link.

.I have no information as to the dates of his birth or his death.

Editor's Note:
If you have any more information on this pioneer aviator
please contact me.
