Santos Dumont col suo nuovo aeroplano N. 14 bis, basato sul principio del pių pesante dell'aria, ha vinto ieri l'altro a Parigi la coppa stabilita dal defunto deputato Archdeacon: dopo una lanciata di circa 100 metri l'apparecchio di Santos Dumont si č innalzato coi propri mezzi ad un'altezza di 5 metri su un percorso di 50 circa, ed una falsa manovra gli impose una discesa un poco brusca interrompendo l'esperienza. Santons Dumont on his new airplane N. 14 bis, based on the heavier than air principle, the day before yesterday has won the trophy donated by the dead deputy Archdeacon: after flying about 100 meters, the Santos Dupont aircraft rising by it's own means to a height of 5 meters in a distance of about 50, and a false manoeuvering caused a slightly abrupt landing, interrupting the flight.
