"Aeroplane Will Fly During Fair,"
Morristown Republican
Morrtisstown, Tennessee: October 2, 1914,
Transcribed by Bob Davis - 11-16-03
"Johnny Green, the well known Chattanooga aviator, has been employed to give exhibition aeroplane flights during the fair next week. Mr. Green is one of the most daring birdmen on the southern circuit and will no doubt furnish an exhibition sufficiently thrilling to satisfy the most ardent lovers of the spectacular.
Although the aeroplane flights have been secured at a considerable expense, no increase will be made in the price of admission and this feature attraction will be free to all who enter the grounds."

JOHNNY GREEN IN BETTY - 1916
"I took another look at faint writing on the back of my photo of the flying boat "Betty", which I sent you a scan of, a while back, and I believe I could make out the words "St. Petersburg", "1916", and "Johnny Green". I noticed that you have another photo of this flying boat, on one of your web pages about Green, so this photo, most likely, shows him in the aircraft."
