Be Glad You Can Grieve!

       "What a sad commentary it would be if when our lives are touched by death there were no pain or sense of loss. Grief comes to us because we cared and a meaningful relationship as we knew it has come to an end. To grieve means that we have loved and been loved.
     When we stop and consider how much poorer our lives would be had this relationship never esisted, in the midst of our grief we can rejoice, give thanks, and say with Tennyson:"

  "I hold it true, what e'er befall;

I feel it, when I sorrow most;

'Tis better to have loved and lost

than never to have loved at all."
