ST. NICHOLAS, AN ILLUSTRATED MAGAZINE FOR YOUNG FOLKS, 1915

These photos were scanned from a book in Walter's collection titled St. Nicholas, published in 1915 by The Century Co., New York and Frederick Warne & Co., London. It is a hard cover book of some 573 pages and apparently was one of a series. I can imagine that this chapter of some eleven pages with illustrations was very interesting to him at the time.
I don't find any current address for the Century Co. on the net, but Frederick Warne & Co. appears to still be in existence. I hope they won't mind my scanning these photos and displaying them on my site. I will try to get in touch with them and ask for formal permission to use the materials if at all possible
