I rode with Pops a few days after we were married. In no time at all, Pops was sent to Lake Geneva to carry passengers there. We rented a room at a Mrs. Burton's and Pops oh so carefully carried passengers at $15 and $20 each. One day he asked if I wanted to fly over to the YMCA camp with him. There were about 100 people on the dock who shook hands with me and said what a brave woman to fly.
