This is a page from the Town & Country of July 22, 1911 Lees Collection. |
This drawing was on the reverse side of the page. Lees Collection. |
Walter had saved this page in his collection. Note that the ad for C. & A. Witteman, probably refers
to Charles R. Witteman, an Early Bird who died in 1967. The ad for Goff's Prize Winning Model Airplanes, in the lower right corner,
may refer to E. A Goff, Jr., another Early Bird. He died in 1989.
The black and white drawing on the right is titled, "A SUNSET SPIN OVER THE HUDSON". It is labeled "DRAWN ESPECIALLY FOR TOWN & COUNTRY BY F. M. WALTS and is signed by him. |
