JO'S AUDIO & VIDEO CLIPS

 

Audio Clips      In the last years of her life, Jo's eyesight was so bad she couldn't use the computer without great difficulty and without making too many typographical errors. To avoid frustration, she chose to dictate her letters and emails into her little microcasette and then have her "Girl Friday" transcribe them and send them on their way. I have found a few of the recordings and copied them into computer files. Here is one she planned to send to Cindy Sheehan, who she admired.      Jo was always very concerned with the state of our nation and of the world. She worried about what kind of world our grandchildren would inherit. She deplored our invasion of Iraq and the failure of our elected officials to do the honorable thing. She wrote this letter to Cindy Sheehan in order to let her know how she felt and of her hopes that Cindy might do the right thing if she got to Washington.

Video Clip - Spring, 2001      This little clip was made back in 2001 when I first got a webcam and wanted to try it out to see if it worked. You will see and hear me giving instructions and toward the end you will see our grandaughter, Sade, appear on the screen and say hello.
