In 1915, Vilas flew his volunteer missions in a Curtiss Flying Boat from the conservation headquarters on Trout Lake. Air Show North Trout Lake at Vilas Memorial 11:00 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Miniature Aircraft Fly-in Boulder Junction Community Park 10:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Presentation of: The Water Flier A one-act play on the life of Jack Vilas Boulder Junction Community Center 4:00 p.m. Events are free to the public.
