BULLETIN #9 TO PILOTS Time for Arrival of Contesting Aeroplanes:      Friday, December 24th, from 12 o'clock noon to 5 p.m.      Saturday, December 25th, between 8 and 10 a.m.      A practice flight around the course will be permitted           Saturday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Arrangements           must be made with the starter.

Landing at the Tournament Grounds:                All planes must land as follows:                Approach from the east only. Do not come in low over                Pacific Electric wires on boulevard because of cool                air currents. Taxi across finish line and continue to                the southwest corner of the flying field, lining up                adjoining previously arrived planes facing the wire                fence.           Pilots will not leave their parking place, except with                permission from the starter.           Race rules:                Pilots will leave their parking place and taxi down the north                side of the field in the order of their start. Motors                will be kept running preliminary to the start.                The official start will be made when pilots have crossed                starting line. Note: no turning or climbing for altitude                previous to the start will be permitted.                No second starts will be permitted. Starts will be in order,                and at 60-second intervals. TOURNAMENT DATES, DECEMBER 25-26-27, 1920
