The "Avion III" of Clément Ader Collection of Jean-Pierre Lauwers

 

Aérdrome de Bordeaux-Mérignac by Jean-Pierre Got      This new 20" X 28'' poster, my latest painting in the Art Nouveau fashion, is to be sold in gift shops at the Bordeaux Airport. I thought Clément Ader and his "Avion Eole" would deserve a tribute on that occasion. After all, his first flight, (or short hop, rather), took place during grape-picking season and Ader was a native of Southwest France.
