| Santos Dumont col suo nuovo aeroplano N. 14 bis, basato sul principio del pių pesante dell'aria, ha vinto ieri l'altro a Parigi la coppa stabilita dal defunto deputato Archdeacon: dopo una lanciata di circa 100 metri l'apparecchio di Santos Dumont si č innalzato coi propri mezzi ad un'altezza di 5 metri su un percorso di 50 circa, ed una falsa manovra gli impose una discesa un poco brusca interrompendo l'esperienza. |

| Santons Dumont with his new airplane N. 14 bis, based on the heavier than air principle, the day before yesterday, won the trophy established by the defunct Archdeacon deputy: After a run of about 100 meters, the Santos Dupont aircraft rose by its own power to a height of 5 meters in a distance of about 50 meters. A false manoeuvre forced him into an abrupt landing, interrupting the demonstration. |
