LEONCE EHRMANN -1914

"French Aviator Killed," Knoxville Journal and Tribune Knoxville, Tennessee: April 19, 1914, Transcribed by Bob Davis - 2-28-07 "Paris, April 18. - Leonce Ehrmann, the aviator, was killed today by a fall from his aeroplane."

Aircraft Deaths by Dave Lam      In Dave Lam's summary of aviation deaths between 1910 and August, 1914, you will find the following entry:

You will notice the discrepancies between the two reports. Dave offered the following comment: "I don't know why there is the discrepancy-- I wonder if the newspaper report of Paris is simply the location from which the report was sent. Unlike most of the other reports it doesn't say "here" or "in Paris" in the report.... I think we will just need to show there is a discrepancy until something else comes up to give us a 2 out of 3 vote.
