BIOGRAPHICAL NOTES

     I have some photos and artifacts that belonged to my grandmother's first husband, Yuri Vladimirovich Ly. He was of Chinese descent, but was raised in Russia. He went through military training there all of his life, until the revolution. He was a Pilot for the IRAS and later a diplomat for the Imperial Chinese. They Lived in Harbin, Manchuria until his death in 1929.
